1. Purpose

Capital Contracts is committed to fair treatment, equal opportunity and a professional working environment where people are respected and able to contribute. We expect decisions about recruitment, engagement, development, promotion, allocation of work and professional treatment to be based on capability, conduct, experience, performance and legitimate business requirements.

2. Scope

This policy applies to Capital Contracts employees, consultants, applicants, contractors, visitors and others working with or on behalf of Capital Contracts.

3. Equal Opportunity

Capital Contracts does not support discrimination on the basis of characteristics such as race, colour, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion or belief, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or family status, pregnancy, age, disability, political opinion, trade union activity, military status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

4. Recruitment and Engagement

Recruitment and engagement decisions should be fair, transparent and based on relevant criteria. Selection should consider skills, experience, professional judgement, integrity, technical capability, language requirements, sector knowledge, client needs and role requirements.

5. Workplace Conduct

Capital Contracts does not accept bullying, harassment, intimidation, victimisation, retaliation, abusive conduct or exclusionary behaviour. Harassment may include unwanted verbal, physical, written, visual or digital conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.

6. Inclusion in International Work

Capital Contracts works across jurisdictions, cultures and project environments. Inclusion requires professional respect across language, nationality, discipline, seniority and cultural background. We expect teams to communicate clearly, avoid assumptions, respect local context and support collaboration in diverse project settings.

7. Reasonable Adjustments

Where applicable and reasonably practicable, Capital Contracts will consider adjustments to support individuals with disabilities, health conditions or other needs, taking into account role requirements, client site conditions and safety obligations.

8. Raising Concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination, harassment or unfair treatment is encouraged to raise the concern through an appropriate manager or engagement contact. Concerns will be reviewed fairly and as confidentially as reasonably possible.

9. No Retaliation

Capital Contracts does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith or participates in a review process.

10. Review

Capital Contracts may review this policy periodically to reflect legal developments, workforce needs and international working practices.
